International Corrosion Symposium (KORSEM), which is one of the important and respectable events on corrosion in Turkey, will be held between 26 – 28 September,2018, in Hatay.
The symposium is organized in cooperation with Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi, Korozyon Derneği (Corrosion Association) and European Federation of Corrosion and sponsored by NWSA Academic Journals and GALDER. KORSEM, which is organized every other year by Corrosion Association, will bring academics and researchers, who have studies on corrosion, and engineers and technical staff assigned to monitor and prevent corrosion, together.
Symposium, covers subjects such as “Corrosion in steel and concrete structures”; “Corrosion in stainless steel”; “Material selection and design against corrosion”; “Coatings, surface protection and analytical techniques; “Cathodic and anodic protection”, etc. Academics and experts from more than 10 countries will share their studies at the event.
Loyalty for the Professor
KORSEM’18 is organized in memory of Prof. Mustafa Doruk, founder of Corrosion Association, who passed away last July.
Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi will be the host of the corrosion symposium. Participation is free of chage.
